1993 Bally Twilight Zone

What a surperb game. This game is in excellent condition, just a few cracked plastics. The game is really similar to Funhouse. There are alot of rule similarities between the two games. This game is a great example of a home machine. There is alot of rules and rewards to achieve, to keep the game from getting stale.
My genius brother also added an amazingly cool feature to the game. The game despenses a gun ball via the coin return slot, after loading the gumball machine during game play. There is a picture of the mechanism mounted to the coin door.
I still need to add the gumballs to the gum ball machine, as of right now, it is naked.

Twlight Zone 9.5 of 10

1993 Bally
4 flippers, 2 magnet flippers
1 mini playfield
1 manual plunger
2 ramps
3 ball multiball, 2 or 3 at once

Twilight Zone is an example of a real players machine. It has 15 modes, and a nice rules set. The game never gets stale. The only thing that draws this game down from being a 10, is the boring wizard mode, LITZ. The game lights everything for a certain amount of time. Highest score achieved in this time frame is Lost In The Zone (LITZ) champion, name on dmd. It just seems boring to me, I wanted a more substantial mode. The other modes on this game are great, with only the repeatative one being clock chaos and clock millions.
The scariest thing while playing the game is when the ball gets moving around in the pop bumpers, just above the left lower flipper. I always tense up hoping it won't drain. It usually does for me!
The mini playfield in the middle of the left side of the playfield is quite good. Instead of flippers you use magnets. Beating the playfield results in a door panel award (mode completed). When you don't defeat the playfield the game laughs at you, driving you insane!
This game also features a special ball. The Powerball, a white ceramic ball, that whizzs around the playfield waiting to be shot around the right loop. It is lighter than a standard chrome pinball resulting in super fast play. I hate the powerball, I always drain when I get the powerball. Moves too fast for me!
Overall this game is awsome.
