1992 Williams Fish Tales

Fish Tales is my favorite game of all time. This game is in great shape. There is only one thing wrong with my machine. There are two dints on the side rails, where the backbox lays down.
I have also installed the reproduction boat plastics and the game looks even better.
I played Fish Tales at Trent University and was hooked instantly. It was only a quater a play and the replay was low at 21 million. I never got my name up in the four years I played it there. I recommend this machine to everyone.
I have also added one of the promotional plastics to the shooter lane of the game. I think it looks great and I used the fish plastic with the "Williams" marking on it. You can see it in the pictures.
I am still debating as to which colour I should use on the lightning flippers. I colour in the bolts, it looks nice. See my Dr. Who or Popeye. I am thining red or green.

Fish Tales is my favorite game of all time it has everything I want in a pinball machine. The game is full of hurry up shots. Almost everything is timed. I never ever get bored playing this machine and always regret when I have to leave it.
There are several objectives that you can concerntrate on. Each game I play I focus on one of the five or six main things to do in Fish Tales. I usually go for one of the following, as many multiballs as I can get (try for jackpot), as many monster fish as I can get (lots of ramps shots), as many fish (stringer) as I can catch (lots of standup tagets), collect all the captive ball awards (make the right loop and hit capitve ball), plus the rock the boat (by captive ball or 4 tales told) and feeding frenzy (making four shots after completing stringer).
The multiball in this game is great. The lock shot is not too easy and there is a small drop target in front which is software controlled to make it exceedingly difficult. To get the jackpot in multiball you have to make the lock shot then make the left loop. Sound easy? Well it isn’t! Collect three jackopts then you can get the chance at super jackpot.
The video mode in this game is also very, very, good. You shoot annoying waterskiers and possibly an extra ball if you are good.
I can’t say enough about Fish Tales. Is has great artwork which is very colourful. The sounds and animation are top notch. The game has perfect flow. The game has equal objectives without inflated scoring. Awsome header. Just the best pinball game ever made!
