Email Me Back

I'm sitting here alone up in my room
Looking at a picture in my hand
Ever since we broke up
I've been trying so hard to understand
What did I do so wrong
To make you hurt me so much
Why do I always wish
I could feel your gentle touch
Why do I love you so much
Even though I know it's the end
I'm staring at this E-mail
Wondering if I should click send
I'm trying to understand
Trying my hardest to be strong
I'm trying to figure out
What I did so wrong
All my thoughts are blurring together
As I stare at the screen through tears
I'm trying so hard to evercome
The worst of all my fears
Was it that I wasn't good enough
Or wasn't I pretty enough for you
I still love you so much
Do you love me too?
E-mail me back
If you're stronger than I am
Please, can you tell me
If you feel the same
Do you still love me
Will you come back to me
Will you love me again?
So I can be happy
E-mail me back
My love for you will never die
Please don't break my heart
Say you'll never say good-bye

To My Enemies

I've noticed you criticized everything I do..

Quit criticizing me,
I don't do this for you.
I do what I do for me,
The one and only me.
So quit criticizing everything I do.
Go away and let me be me.

Forget

Forget his name, forget his face,
Forget his kiss and warm embrace.
Forget the love you once knew,
Remember now there`s someone new.
Forget the way he holds your hand,
Forget the sweet things that you can,
Forget him when they played your song,
Remember you cried all night long.
Forget the love you once knew,
Remember now she loves him too.
Forget he was the whole wide world,
Remember now, it's another girl.
Forget him say he'd leave you never
Remember now he's gone forever.

Missing You

I miss the way I had felt before,
Even though we were friends and nothing more,
But you always know that I love you,
Even till now I think I still do,
You tend to enter my mind everyday,
I guess my love for you never went away,
The way you used to feel I still remember then,
But I will never be able to see you again,
I miss the way you used to look at me,
And when I close my eyes your smile I still see,
Your gentle voice I once heard over the phone,
When you used to call me at home,
But things have changed and you’ve moved on,
And with you I know I don’t belong,
I still think of the times when I saw your face,
All those memories I will never erase,
Or the crush I had on you i`d never forget,
And the love I gave you I`d never regret,
But still I remember when you rejected me,
And the night I cried miserably,
Cause you didn’t love me the way I loved you,
Eventhough time has passed I still do,
Many months gone by and practically a year,
And till now when I think of you I still shed a tear,
I still cry to the thought of my broken heart,
Cause I have loved you from the very start......
Sometimes I wonder what I see in you,
What it is I don’t have a clue,
But I love you I do know,
And I can’t seem to let go,
Though miles separate us far apart,
You are still in my heart,
Months has passed, a year gone by,
Even now, I think of you and cry,
Cry to the thought that you don’t love me.

If Tomorrow Never Comes

If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute or two
to stop and say I love you,
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything right.

There will always be another day
to say our I love you's,
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get
to hold your loved one tight..

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear,

Take time to say "I'm sorry, please forgive me,"
"thank you" or "it's okay".
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

On Daddy's Day at School

Her hair was up in a ponytail
Her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
And she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
That she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
If she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid;
She knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
Of why he wasn't there today.

But still her mother worried,
For her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
She tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school,
Eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees
A dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back,
For everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
Anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called,
A student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
As seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
Every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
For a man who wasn't there.

"Where's her daddy at?"
She heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
Another student dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,
She heard a daddy say,
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
Too busy to waste his day."

The words did not offend her,
As she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
Who told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,
Slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
Came words incredibly unique.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,
Because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
Since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
And how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories
He taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
And taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
And ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone.

"Cause my daddy's always with me,
Even though we are apart
I know because he told me,
He'll forever be in my heart"

With that, her little hand reached up,
And lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
Beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere in the crowd of dads,
Her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
Who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love
Of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
Doing what was right.

And when she dropped her hand back down,
Staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
But its message clear and loud.

"I love my daddy very much,
He's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here,
But heaven's just too far.

You see he was a fireman
And died just this past year
When airplanes hit the towers
And taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,
It's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes,
And saw him there that day.

And to her mother's amazement,
She witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children,
All starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them,
Who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
They saw him at her side.

"I know you're with me Daddy,"
To the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
Of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
For each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
Was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,
By the love of her shining bright star.
And given the gift of believing,
That heaven is never too far

Wishing

If I asked you if you miss me,
would you say it's true?
if I told you I love you,
would you say I love you too?
if you saw me out in public,
would you say hi with a hug?
or would you walk away
with a smile and a shrug
if I met someone else,
would it break your heart?
if you met someone else,
it'd tear my world apart
we live our separate lives,
in our separate worlds
yet it'd make me sad
to see you with other girls
does it ever occur to you
That we are meant to be?
each day I think of you and me
and wish you were here with me

If Only You Knew

I can't find the words to say
To tell you that I feel this way
I want you to tell me what I can do
To make you want me next to you
If you look at me you'll understand
All i want is to hold your hand
I felt this way for so long
It hurts me that I don't belong
Wanting you is all a dream
My heart aches I wanna scream
I smile and laugh just thinking of you
Together now I wish it was true
I always imagine of your gentle touch
If only you knew I felt this much
not being with you I'm falling apart
Cause I don't know how to get your heart
If you could only see the love in my eyes
Of all those nights I sat and cried
Just look at me I'm standing there
Call out my name and I'll be there
How long the wait I don't know
When that day come I'll let it show
If you only knew my feelings for you
I'll stay hopeful you'll feel the same way too.

True Friendship

A minister passing through his church
in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar
and see who had come to pray.

Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw
the man hadn't shaved in a while.

His shirt was kinda shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head,
then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed,
each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
a lunch pail in his lap.

Well, the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,
"What are you doing here?"

The old man said, he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
for finding strength and power.

"I stay only moments, see,
because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
this is kinda what I say:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I
THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM CHECKING IN TODAY."

The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome
to come and pray just anytime.

Time to go, Jim smiled, said
"Thanks." He hurried to the door.
The minister knelt at the altar,
he'd never done it before.

His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I
THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY."

Past noon one day, the minister noticed
that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim,
he began to worry some.

At the factory, he asked about him,
learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried,
but he'd given them a thrill.

The week that Jim was with them,
brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious.
Changed people, were his reward.

The head nurse couldn't understand
why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came,
not a visitor he had.

The minister stayed by his bed,
he voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared.
He had nowhere to turn

Looking surprised, old Jim spoke up
and with a winsome smile;
"The nurse is wrong, she couldn't know,
that in here all the while

everyday at noon He's here,
a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,
leans over and says to me:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM,
HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,
AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN.
ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS
CHECKING IN TODAY."

When tomorrow...

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too.

But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind,
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.

I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth is past,
But here life starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past.

You have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things
You knew you shouldn't do.

But you have been forgiven
And now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand
And share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

Never

Never say I love you,
If you do not really care.
Never talk of feelings,
If they are not really there.

Never hold my hand,
If you mean to break my heart.
Never say forever,
If you ever plan to part.

Never look into my eyes,
If you are telling me a lie.
Never say hello,
If you think you'll say goodbye.

Never say that I'm the one,
If you dream of more than me.
Never lock up my heart,
If you do not have the key.

Friends 1

I got your back,
You got mine,
I'll help you out
Anytime.

To see you hurt
To see you cry,
Makes me weep
And wanna die.

And if you agree
To never fight,
It wouldn't matter
Who's wrong or right.

If a broken heart
Needs a mend,
I'll be right there
To the end.

If your cheeks are wet
From drops of tears,
Don't you worry,
Let go your fears.

Hand in hand
Love is sent,
We'll be friends
Till the end.

Friends 2

Written with a pen,
Sealed with a kiss.
If you're my friend,
Please answer this.
Are we friends?
Or are we not?
You told me once,
But I forgot.
So tell me now,
and tell me true.
So I can say,
I'm here for you.
Of all the friends
I've ever met,
You're the one,
I won't forget.
And if I die,
Before you do,
I'll go to Heaven,
And wait for you.
I'll give the Angels,
Back their wings,
and risk the loss,
Of everything.
Just to prove,
My friendship is true,
To have a friend
Like YOU!

A heart..

A heart is not a play thing,
A heart is not a toy,
But if you want it broken,
Just give it to a boy.

Boys they like to play with things
To see what makes them run,
But when it comes to kissing,
They do it just for fun.

Boys never give their hearts away
They play us girls for fools,
They wait until we give our hearts
And then they play it cool.

You will wonder where he is at night,
You will wonder if he's true.
One moment you will be happy,
One moment you will be blue.

If you get a chance to see him,
Your heart begins to dance.
Your life revolves around him,
There's nothing like romance.

And then it starts to happen,
You worry day and night.
You see, my friend, you're losing him.
It never turns out right.

Boys are great, though immature.
The price you pay is high,
He may seem sweet and gorgeous,
But remember, he's a guy.

Don't fall in love with just a boy.
That takes a lot of nerve.
You see, my friend, you need a man
To get what you deserve.

So when you think that you're in love,
Be careful if you can.
Before you give your heart away
Make sure that he's a man.

Others

Hello There Nice Person.
Did Anyone Ever Tell You,
Just How Special You Are
The Light that You Emit
Might even Light a Star
Did Anyone Ever Tell You
How Important You Make Others Feel
Somebody out here is Smiling
About Love that is so Real
Did Anyone Ever Tell You
Many Times, When They were Sad
Your E-mail made Them Smile a bit
In Fact It made Them Glad
For the Time You Spend Sending Things
And Sharing whatever You Find
There are No Words to Thank You
Did Anyone Ever Tell You
Just How Much They Love You
Well, My Dearest "Online " Friend
Today I am Telling You

It is said there are Angels
In Heaven above
And they shine with the light
Of an inner friendship

Of these things
I had not a clue
But that was
Before I found you

For in you I’ve found
A fren that is so right
It shines all around
With the brightest of light

It comes from somewhere
So deep within
That it has no beginning
And knows no end

Your frenship is a light
That brightens each day
Of all of the people
You see on your way

Where ever you go
Or whatever you do
All see the fren
That you have inside you

That God sent you here
To a place where you’d be
Sharing such care
With someone like me

Is proof for me
That angels exist
And are filled with a love
That no man could resist

I thank God each day
For finding the time
For looking down on me
And making you my fren

So yes there are Angels
In heaven above
I know because God
Sent me one to care

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
No One is as Sweet,
As Sweet as You.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Boys for sale
5 cents for 2

roses are red
violets are blue
sugar is sweet
so are you

mountains are high
valleys are low
remember me
wherever you go

birds fly high
hard to catch
friends like you
hard to get

Remember M
Remember E
Join together
Remember ME

Girls walk in the morning
Boys walk in the evening
Don't think of your darling

But think of learning.
