Why I became a massage therapist....
After spending 5 years working as a Registered Dental
Assistant, I decided to make a change, and try a career in massage. I would say
it became a natural transition. I discovered new thoughts and beliefs about
health and physical well being.
I received my training from Nancy Burr and associates at
the American Institute of Massage Therapy and interned at Rossmoor Touch
Therapy, where I practiced various types of massage with clients suffering from
chronic muscle pain. I also had the opportunity to work with clientele who
suffered from carpal tunnel, arthritis, bursitis and muscle fatigue.
I discovered massage years ago, however, I remained in the
dental field for quite some time before finally taking the step towards making
massage therapy my main priority. I have benefited from massage as both, the
giver and the receiver. I understand how important it is to receive massage
after straining myself in my former occupation.
Having the gift of healing people both, physically and
emotionally has brought me great satisfaction and happiness. I firmly believe
that regular massage can make a difference in anyone’s life. I want to help make
that difference for others.
