Park West, Chicago
By John Everson
Peter Stuart, currently poised to release
a solo CD on Columbia after two
successful albums (and a hit single in "Everything Falls Apart")
with Dog's Eye View, noted during his Park West
set that he and Glen were considering calling
their spring tour "the lead singers
formerly of . . ." Stuart's energetic delivery
and stream-of-narrative approach to songwriting
(the audience especially enjoyed his extemporaneous
rant on Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys
and their ilk in the midst of "Everything Falls Apart")
showed Stuart can certainly hold an audience on his own.
