Mendenhall Glacier & Windfall Lake Trail
We waited for our hiking companions at one of our favorite spots for taking pictures of the glacier.

A few shots of the Hebert Glacier river. We stayed pretty close to it most of the way to Windfall Lake.
This swampy area, called muskeg, reminds us of Louisiana. The skunk cabbage in the left picture is so pungent that Janae believed there were little skunks inside them.
