Frida - Riva: The mother of the family. Born and raised in Bochnia near Krakow,
Poland. All her family (her parents, 3 sisters and two brothers) resided
in the same town.

She married Issachar Kant and had 9 children.

The family resided at 40 Wis'nicka st. in Bochnia . This large single level
house was accommodating a general store as well as the residence for the
large family.

She was working alongside her husband in running the general store. After
Issachar's death she struggled to support the large family on her own.

She was not highly educated but life smart.

In April 1941 she moved in with her daughter Hinda (whose house was located
within the ghetto's boundaries).

What became of her is unknown. Possibly she was murdered by the Nazis in
1943 (approximate date July to September) She perished at the age of 60*.
