Taffy joined GP on January 18, 2001,
so she was with us for a long time. She had been our
newsletter editor for a while, and she was very active
for a while, writing and sharing in the group.
Taffy left the group less than a year
ago, because her health problems got so bad she could
not keep up. (She remained in the Parents Forever group,
however, since it has less mail to contend with, and she
participated in our daily trivia competition 12 times
this month - usually having one of the highest scores,
so she was mentally alert and giving us a run.

Linda Ibarra

Linda once told us, "God does not want us to live with hatred
in our hearts ~ that would take away all the time I
have for the wonderful memories of Mikey to be in my
heart."
Linda Ibarra was a long-time member of our Grieving
Parents group. Her son “Mikey” Michael Spencer
Wiltsie, died February 5, 2000 when he was crushed to death by a camp counselor who was
responsible for restraining him. For years Linda
fought to find justice for her son.
On June 16, 2000
she joined GP and had remained a member ever since.
Tuesday, November 29th, 2005, Linda and her 7 year old son,
Lorenzo were found dead by her 16 year old son,
Brian. Autopsy results are pending.
Many of us remember Linda for her deep love of her
children, her sincere compassion for other bereaved
parents, and her willingness to be both open and
helpful. It is difficult to understand her death but
what remains are our memories of the Linda we knew
in GP. We will be diminished by her loss and she
will be deeply missed. Our hearts go out especially
to Brian as well as to Linda’s mother and other
family members.

Sally joined GP in 2003 after her 24
year old son, Steven, died from an accidental overdose.

Kathy joined GP in 2003 after her 22 year old son died in a car
accident.
Carla Hunt
Died: 17 Dec 2003
Joplin, Missouri
Mother of Rea Nicole Kesinger
23 May 1980 - 11 March 1999
Carla joined GP in 2002. Her 18 year
old daughter, Rea, died from a gunshot wound.
