From Kanda's earliest years,
she loved the beauty of colorful flowers,
the Fall trees,
and the Seasons of the year.

She loved her nephew and niece dearly,
had plans for her niece, a cheerleader,
as she herself was for 6 years,
from Jr. High through High School.

Cats and dogs,
she wanted to give homeless animals a home
with her and all of God's creatures.

She was unique,
a quick bluntness about her,
especially in a humorous way,
but blunt in other ways also,
never at a loss for words,
