John LITTLER, William DILLON (Glengary, West Virginia), and Joseph BUCHAN were charged

The road on Back Creek conformed toBerkeley Co. Highway 7 crossing the state line to
Frederick Co. Highway 740, and touching several other highways. All of which places
Robert CROSLEY having lived very close to Glengary, West Virginia.

land during the French and Indian War, but later returned. (Pete)

1751 Rev. Samuel HEATON was at Mill Creek in 1751, he is mentioned several times with Henry
CROSLEY, HEATON would later become the pastor in Cape May, New Jersey. (Pete)

in 1752, and 406 acres in the barrens of the Potomac River 1759. Both of which place
him in immediate neighborhood of William CROSLEY.)

Robert CROSLEY, assignee of Nehemiah HARRIS of Frederick, 385 acres on Dillions Run on
Back Creek, adjacent to William FROST, David RUBLE, Thomas PROVINCE, Francis McCORMACK.
Surveyed by Richard RIGGS. Robert did have a neighbor named William DILLION.

1767- 1770
Keziah CROSLEY has a possible tie to the MALINS. There are MALINS in the northern part
of Virginia. One was Isaac MALIN who was a first cousin of Alice MALIN who married John
CROSLEY in 1747. Isaac MALIN Jr. and wife (who were Quakers) settled in Northern
Virginia and they were the parents of Sarah MALIN who married David RUBLE. Through
David RUBLE and wife, we have a connection to the MALIN family and Robert CROSLEY as
David RUBLE was to become a neighbor to Robert CROSLEY on Dillons Run of Back Creek in
	Frederick Co.

It is interesting to note that although the original RUBLES were from Germany, and
MALINS were Quaker, that David RUBLE and his wife were Baptist. In his 1808 will, David
wrote, “I give and bequeath my white riding horse to Rev. Mathias LUSE, Babtis Minstor.”
David RUBLE bought his land on Back Creek on 5-29-1764 and Robert CROSLEY bought his
	land 1767 to 1770.

1771 Robert
At church meeting, 3-3-1771, it was agreed that Robert CROSLEY should officiate in the
office of Elder in the Chruch.
