Hello and welcome to Char's Poms. My husband and I call the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan home, along with our two sons and our Pom babies. Our house was built in the 1880's and after extensive remodeling, it is a place we love to call home.

MARCH 2008
I purchased my first Pomeranian in 1994 but did not decide to breed and show Poms until 1998. In these past few years, I have enjoyed breeding several champions, group winners, and even a few Best In Show Pomeranians. I am proud to have put championship titles on 61 Pomeranians, 50 of those were home-bred. I was the American Pomeranian Club's top exhibitor in 2005 and 2006. 2nd place for Top Exhibitor in 2007. Top 3 breeder 2005, 2006, 2007.

I want to give a special thank you to my dedicated handler and friend, Lynn Meyer, for putting so much love and care into my Pom babies. Char's Pomeranians would not be the same without her.

I strive to learn everything I can about the Pomeranian and all the wonderful people who treasure the Pom as I do. I have met many wonderful people and look forward to meeting many more in the years to come...

Our boys are growing up. They are now 14 and 7. Thankfully, they still enjoy going to the dog shows. Most of all, they love lounging in the room and swimming in the pool. Our youngest son has his boy Gizmo though and they have pulled off a few Best of Breed wins together. |
| And, here is proof positive that Poms and children can get along very well. Of course, children must be taught how to treat an animal if you want your child and pet to have this kind of bond.
