Welcome to the Brian LaBelle Memorial

Brian was a very special person. He touched people's hearts and their souls, and for this he will never be forgotten. If you knew Brian, you will never forget him. That's what this site is for. I want everyone that Brian has known to share those special memories they have of him with others so that their memories of him will never die.

Brian LaBelle

Born on to this earth July 23, 1968

Taken from us too soon June 25, 2001

This is me with Brian in February of 2001.

Brian, after being diagnosed with Lymphomia June 2, 2001, lost his battle against Cancer on June 25, 2001. Brian left behind a daughter (Nicole), a wife (Jilene), other family members, and countless people who were lucky enough to call him "a friend".

My goal is this page to be a running tribute to Brian. If you have any memories you'd like to share, please tell us about them in the Guestbook!! You can view the guestbook here.

There are more pictures of Brian and his friends in the Photo Memorial portion of this site. If you have Pictures of Brian, or of you and Brian, please feel free to send them to me, along with a little info on the picture.

You can read a little more about me in the Webmistress portion of this website, and you can e-mail me here.

Brian was a talented writer. His wife is currently in the process of publishing his poetry. If you would like to obtain a copy of the book, or would like more information, you can view her website here.

This is one of the poem's Brian wrote. This poem was written when we went out to eat one night. A very pretty girl came in the restaurant with her family. He made a remark on how pretty she was, and it's a shame that people are afraid to pay strangers compliments. He grabbed a napkin and wrote this poem. When we were leaving, he handed it to her. As we walked passed the windows, you can see the girl reading the poem with her mouth hanging open in shock. About 20 minutes later, we were in Blockbuster Video. Wouldn't you know the same girl walked in, and noticed Brian and I standing there. She walked over to him, and just about in tears, thanked him for one of the nicest things someone has ever done for her. Brian had the talent for touching people's hearts, and for this he won't be forgotten.

Every day, you come across somone that tweaks your mind,
Every day, you wonder what it is that day you'll find,
Today was the day, that it was you that sparked an interest inside,
and being the type of guy I am,
I decided not to hide, the fact that you are Beautiful!!
