The romance of spring is all around me, from the budding flowers to the fluff in the air. I can almost smell the passion as yet another couple passes me by. The sound of children's laughter echoing in my head almost drowns out the rythmic laping of the waves on the hot, sandy beach. This time of year allways reminds me of him. His golden hair seemed to lighten even more under the rays of the vicios summer sun, accening his peircing blue eyes. Those eyes seemed to be able to see straight into me, never wavering, allways searching for something... I can't think like this, I doubt if he even remembers who I am.
--------She stares as he walks by-----------
I wonder if she remembers me. It isn't very likely, but I remember her. I remember the way her dark hair shimmered every time the light struck it, how her sparkling blue eyes allways seemed to find mine. I remember how soft her skin was to touch, and how she shivered when she was cold. Most of all I remember her kiss. I wonder if anything has changed since we were seven. Love is such an easy thing to feel when you're so young, but it seems to stay with you forever. Even if you loose all contact with the object of your affection.
-----He turns and marvels at her beauty-----
And as their gaze met for a single moment, they each sed a tear. For they can never be together. They live in two different worlds, loving eachother from a distance.
They are a million miles from no where, leaving only their footprints behind.
