I'm sitting in Chemistry, ignoring my teacher lecturing at the front of the room, I'm remembering back to this weekend. I'm remembering how you sat next to me at the restauraunt, how you asked Gill to sit in the front so you could sit in the back. I was sitting in the back, would you have asked otherwise? I'm remembering how you claimed the spot beside me as "yours" just after I sat down on your couch. I sigh remembering how we argued about who was paying for me, you won, you allways do. A smile forces it's way onto my face as I remember how you were fooling around with John Paul. It was so nice of you to act like a big brother for him, even though he's just a hyper active seven year old. You would make such a good dad. They tell us we should go out, they tell us we will end up going out, they whisper to eachother that we'd make a cute couple as we divy up the mints and wet naps at the restauraunt. I blink, something is being said about Molar Enthalpy's, I remember how you were tickling me with your feet while we lay on your couch watching the movie, I remember how happy you sounded to hear my voice on the other line. My face falls, I remember how you huged Gill, I remember how you huged Michaela, I remember how you shook my hand. Maybe it was because I didn't look like I wanted a hug, maybe I looked scared. I was scared, but I still wanted one, you didn't know that, you did the gentlemanly thing. I smile hopefully, maybe you were trying to cover up your feelings for me. A girl can allways home. The bell rings snapping me out of remembering. You have taken up my whole mind for another class, I'll be hopeless until I collect the rent. I remember how you said you were thinking of getting a girlfriend just so you can get back scratches, I can scratch as well as the next girl.
