As silence abounds
and confusion surrounds
Life's bright colors swirl
as I stand still and watch
like a movie
A car trip through new lands
passing through new territory
while events pass by
Mistakes that have been made
are not worth regretting
because what has happened
is past and cannot be changed
And so what if I made a wrong turn?
It brought me to where I am now
and indirectly caused
my current pleasures
