Diversity calls for celebration,
Yet many people show trepidation,
When trying to make a relation
With the subject.
Telling me to be like this
Or saying, “Why can’t you conform?”
For things as ridiculous
As boy bands or porn.
Hey let’s all be Christian,
Let’s all shop at A&F,
Why are we supposed think in the same clef?
Diversity is something we should adore,
But it’s becoming clear to me
That the answer is,
(Quoth the Raven) “Nevermore.”
