Victor's Windows Media Player Files

These are some of Victor 's best files. He had an amazing vocabulary of over 800 words. I believe he was the most intelligent bird in the world while he was alive. His remarkable talents even exceeded that of Alex the African Grey parrot. Prior to his death he taught his vocabulary, along with the meanings of the words, to his mate Betty. 

Victor was less than 4 years old when he died and in some areas, he had an intelligence level of a human in his late teens to early twenties. 

Using The Windows Media Player Captions

When the audio file is played you will be able to see the words pop up as "Captions" when he talks. You may have to activate the "Captions" button on the Windows Media Player. To activate it select View, Now Playing Tools, and Captions. Some of the files may take a minute or two to download and they my not be in sync when they first start playing. To get them in sync stop the Windows Media Player and start the recording from the beginning.
