I curently own a pair of Ford Mustang GT's
I was born and raised in Dracut, MA, however I am currently attending the University of Texas at Austin so I spend about 9 monthes a year in TX. I do spend the summer monthes in MA and my 89GT spends all its time there. I take the 99GT with me to school.
I love to race mustangs. I am an FFW (Fun Ford Weekend) participant and I make frequent trips to my local drag strips. I am also getting into AutoX racing with a local Austin club. I have raced my 99GT in the Mod Motor class in FFW three times since I bought it in June of 2000, and plan to attend 3 races in the 2002 season. I also raced the 89GT in the True Street event once in 99 before its transformation began. I haven't won an event yet, but I'm getting closer.
I bought my 89GT when I was 15 years old and have been toying with it ever since. I have a done quite a bit of work to, the majority of which was was done during the winter of 2000-2001. The motor has about 2000 miles on it and spends most of its time in my garage in MA. I hate to see this car sitting witch is why I am going to make a sacrifice and sell it to the right buyer. I purchased my 99GT in June of 2000 to be my daily driver. I drive from Massachusetts to Texas and back again each year so I needed a more efficient car than the 89. Don't get me worng, I love the 5.0 but the 99 gets about 30 miles per gallon on the highway. I haven't done much to the 99 yet, but you can check it out in my 99GT link.
