Ma-ster

James Ma (Lead Guitarist)- Born July 20th 1987, and after attending local elementary, Cougar Canyon with fellow band member (drummer)Ben Shorter for seven years entered the local high school, Seaquam Secondary. Starting in the summer of 2002, he began to play acoustic, then following up on an electric in August (Squier Fat Strat Affinity Series by Fender). His main inspiration to start playing the electric was John Fusciante who James still looks to for advice on writing great guitar riffs. Introduced to (bassist)Johann Holek of Burnsview Junior Secondary through manager (Vanessa Johansson), the unnamed band had found their bassist. Ma and Shorter had finally put together their band, all they needed was a singer, soon found to be friend and student, James Babalos. After completing their band, Ma and Shorter had created the name "Zexy Tapeworms" and were on their way to stardom.

Squat Dawg

Ben Shorter (Drummer)- Born May 8th, 1987. Attended local elementary Cougar Canyon for 8 years where he met up with fellow bandmember (guitars)James Ma who both attend local high school, Seaquam Secondary. Has been playing the drums since 2000 (Pearl Export with Sabians). His inspiration to play drums and write amazing drum fills is Chad Smith. Was also introduced to fellow band member (bassist)Johann Holek. Created the name, "Zexy Tapeworms" with James Ma. He's currently an excellent goalie for the local house team. He's 5'10 and weighs 147 lbs. Favorite things include: Subway, fans and Japanese food.

J-String

Johann Holek (Bassist)- Attended Sunshine Hills Elementary for 8 years. Currently attending Burnsview. He's in 9th grade unlike the 10th grade members of the band but never the less, he has incredible bass skills. Has been playing bass since 2000 (Yamaha lmtd. edition). Also has been playing guitar since 1999 (Series 24 M-77 by Squire). His inspiration to play guitar was the amazing sound of George Harisson in the Beatles, and now his inspiration for guitar comes from Adam Jones. His inspiration for the bass is Flea. He enjoys hangin with his best friends, and spending hours straight playing the bass and electric guitar. Johann's beliefs include God, and not playing the bass with a pik. Favorite things include: Accoustic Guitar, Mcdonald's, Bass, Electric, Football, Watchin Hockey and hangin' with friends.

Oxy

James Babalos(vocals)-Attended Pinewood Elementary school, and now attends Seaquam Secondary. Like the band's guitarist and drummer, he is in grade 10 currently. He was first discovered by the band when they were looking for a singer. He auditioned at Ma-ster's house, and Oxy got the job. He enjoys spending time with the band, his friends and playing football, and going to McDonald's. He has just improved his sound system, with larger and better speakers. Oxy works hard to come up with new and interesting lyrics for the band's song writing and is quite talented at finding catchy little guitar riffs for the songs as well.
