What productions this character appears in:

London, Broadway, Vienna, Japan, Oslo, Germany, Finland, Amsterdam/Antwerp, Stockholm/Gothenburg, Paris, Copenhagen, Video, Aus/NZ Tour I, Circus Tour, SA Tour.

    Description of this character:

Appearing only for a few moments for the Pekes and Pollicles song, the Rumpus Cat is a black tom with red eyes, and white detailing.

    Personality of this character:

He's meant to be fearsome and scary...however much he tries, onstage it doesnt work. He actually comes over as rather funny and vain.

    Other info and trivia:

In the Hungrian and Mexico/Argentinian productions, the Rumpus Cat does not exist. I can only assume these productions possibly cut the song of "The Aweful Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles.
In Broadway Plato was doubled as the Rumpus Cat; while in Japan and Germany Alonzo is doubled as the Rumpus Cat.
