    A large shaggy grey-brown tom who's the eldest of the tribe.

    Personality of this character:

    Old Deuteronomy seems like the perfect cat. He's wise and patient with everyone, from the squealing Etcetera to the outsider Grizabella. He respects every cat for who they are and seems to believe every cat should have their chance to shine.

    Other info and trivia:

    Berlin is the only German production to change Old Deuteronomy's name.
    In the London production in particular, Old Deuteronomy was played by the same person who played Bustopher Jones.
