In the video, and UK based productions, he's perceived as a black and white tom, whereas in American and German productions in particular, Alonzo is gold and black instead.
Personality of this character:
He's the protector of the tribe, being one of the older toms. He helps out in the struggle against Macavity, rescuing Demeter from the middle of the fight between Macavity and Munkustrap.
Other info and trivia:
In the video production, Alonzo is paired with Cassandra. I believe the same goes for London productions to a certain degree. In some other productions, particularly Germany, Alonzo is the mate of Demeter.
Alonzo doesnt appear in the Hungrian productions.
In London he doubles as the pirate Tumblebrutus & in Japan as the Rumpus Cat.
