By the time we have finished writing this update, Wicked's opening performance should have finished, or just about. Four reviews are already up. They are mixed, at best, sadly. The two leading ladies got mostly praise, although I think three out of four articles favored Kristin Chenoweth. The other favored Idina Menzel. Here are the reviews: Newsday.com Review, New York Times Review, (Must be registered to view) Talkin' Broadway Review - The most negative, and Broadway.com Review. Well, Wicked opens tomorrow night! We wish all the cast and crew break a leg!

Also, the nightly Wicked lottery that is held before each performance (to give away tickets for lucky winners for that performance) will start at 4:00 PM tomorrow night (the 30th). The names of the winners will be drawn at 4:30 PM. The big gala opening night performance starts at 6:30 PM!
