Welcome to the "Crazy Chicken Writers." This is a site for upcoming writers who want to have other people give constructive critisism on your work. On our site we publish poetry, creative fiction, and persuasive essays. Every week we will have a prompt for each category. All submissions will be read, and then we will decide the winner. All other submissions that are not part of a prompt will also be read and if they are serious, without excesive profanity, and are not erotic, they will be posted up on the site as well.

Creative writing prompt for the week: Rewrite the Cinderella story, but this time have the glass slipper fit one of the icky step-sisters. Make your ending as creative as possible.

Persuasive writing prompt: I've been doing some research, and I've found a law in North Carolina that says: No liquor of any kind will be bought before noon on Sunday, because people should be in church. First of all, is this a seperation of church and state? And do you think NC should be allowed to make a law like this? Why, or why not?

Poetry prompt: Pick an emotion, then pick the noun verb and color you think best describes the emotion. for example: Guilt is like a floating green haze. Then use that sentence as your first line of your poem, and write a freestyle poem.

Fun prompt: Write an amusing excuse for not going to work/school today.
