Blank Stare

Blank Stare

You'll never notice me
even when I'm standing right in front of you.
Maybe I'll always be so oblivious
Maybe you'll never be looking my way.
When you walk through the blank stare
You leave behind the broken pieces
that are embedded in the floor.
You keep treading harder and harder everytime
Until I eventually don't exist to you at all.
I guess I'm so transparent
that your heart will just float right through me.
My hands are apparently too slow.
