Riverside Players are a completely hands-on group, and all members, whether on-stage or off, are expected to pull together to help make each production a success. Riverside Players construct and paint their own scenery and props, and this is usually done on the three Sundays prior to the performance, from 10 am to 2pm, or later, depending on how things are progressing. Set-building Sundays are great fun, as members get the opportunity to work together as a team - and a hearty lunch is usually provided on site for a nominal fee! As well as set-build get-togethers, Riverside Players also has a thriving social scene, with several events arranged for members throughout the year. Recent examples of these include karaoke evenings and Salsa dancing evenings.
