History
of Riverside Players
Riverside Players were formed in 1965 with the aim of producing a wide range of amateur productions.
We normally produce:
- a play in the spring (normally a comedy/farce)
- a musical in the summer
- a pantomime at Christmas
We meet every Monday and Thursday evening at
8 pm at the Memorial Hall,
Straight Road, Old Windsor for rehearsals and maybe a
glass of something in one of Old Windsor's seven fine pubs!
We are non-profit making and each year we donate money to various local and national
charities.
Recently, we have donated money to St. John Ambulance, Windsor & Maidenhead Cruse
(Bereavement Counselling) and The East Berkshire Autistic Society.
