Comments:

The Doors played at Bill Graham’s Winterland on Saturday night (February 5) and on Sunday night (February 6). An audience of 5,000 people had attended the show on Sunday night. Included on the same bill as The Doors were Cold Blood, Doug Kershaw and Commander Cody. Only two songs have surfaced from the February 6 show, "Rock Me" and "Oh Carol", both of which are cover songs. During "Rock Me", Jim had asked his audience at one point in the song: "All right, how many of you people wanna get rocked tonight ?"

Philip Elwood, writer for the San Francisco Examiner, had seen The Doors on Sunday and had observed that Morrison "came on full steam at midnight" and performed strongly way past one o’clock in the morning. Musically, the group’s performance was outstanding and Robbie Krieger’s guitar work was also well noted.
