Comments:

There seems to be either very little information or virtually none regarding The Doors performance at The Continental Ballroom in Santa Clara on July 9, 1967.

Only an audience recording of this concert has surfaced, beginning with the house announcer saying: "I'd like to remind The Doors that this is a tight place and needs some ventilation, so let's have 'em blow the roof off ... here are The Doors."

The Doors quickly raced through "Soul Kitchen", "Break On Through", "Alabama Song" and "Back Door Man" which is unfortunately cut off.

For most part of the concert, Ray's bass seems to come through quite loud. During "Back Door Man", Jim improvised this song as he mixed it in with "We Came Down A River" - which was to later to become part of "Celebration Of The Lizard". The concert finished off with a cut off version of "The End".
