The Broadway musical PIPPIN with book by Roger O. (Walking Happy) Hirson, and music and lyrics by Stephen (Godspell) Schwartz was orginally produced on the Broadeway stage by Stuart Ostrow.
The 1972 Broadway production opened to good reviews, received eleven Tony nominations, won five awards and ran 1, 944 performances.
The upcoming Marist College production produced by Marisa Levy, Alexis Valianos, and Ed Kasche is scheduled to open in late November and will be Directed and Choreographed by Michael Blevins with Musical Direction by George Croom. Nicky Romaniello, serves as Associate Director and Choreographer on the production of PIPPIN. Paul Gregorio of Gregorio Productions provides Sound Design for the production.
