A native of the Philippines, MYK has been singing since he could grab a microphone. Without any professional vocal training, he was born with an impressionable and beautiful gift, his voice. Eventually after joining the church and school choir, his participation had inspired him to continue his musical talents professionally and assisted in the development of his vocal skills. Additionally, MYK has also been talent lyrist since high school, and he has written a number of songs that have been used by other potential singers. After being in the U.S. for quite some time now and becoming naturalized, he has decided to continue school later in life in hopes that he will advance his music career.
