An Anachronistic Musical Dialogue

Welcome Visitors

Joe Green Meets the Red Priest is the Author's required project
for the University of British Columbia’s inaugural Music Appreciation 101 course, autumn 2001 - spring 2002.

The dialogue between Giuseppi Verdi and Antonio Vivaldi lampoons the composers with humour
that may not be suitable for all visitors (especially children and the clergy.) 1

You don’t need a musical education to enjoy this œuvre - just a sense of humour. 2
Please appreciate the anachronistic antics of TONY and JOE.

Primavera 2002

Strike him with your baton and see where The Conductor leads . . .

1   The author believes this caution will attract more hits.

2   Visitors may need a musical education to appreciate some of the author’s atrocious entendre-doubles.
