Oh, I say! You've come back! How lovely! *Looks closer* Or perhaps you are new to the Heaviside? *Tugs at his soft brown railroad vest* Well, no matter! At any rate, you will want to know what our business in the Heaviside Layer is before you enter the chamber of our most prized possession, the Lady Grizabella.

For those who are not aquatinted with me, I am Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat, guardian to Lady Grizabella. When I am not on my train The Sleeping Car Express, I am content to stay right here by Grizabella's side to look after her and make sure that she is content and pleased with all the happenings in this wondrous, magical place. I also keep a close eye on her soul sister Griddlebone who is often here with us, and on her soul mate Mister Mistoffelees who stays with her mostly. Grizabella seems to be happy enough here, even though more than anything she wishes to go back to earth, but before she does so she wishes to help others. This I will explain briefly. Otherwise, the various guardians of our Lady will explain who they are and why they are here, at a later time.

Now that you know a little of who we are, would you like to know what our Lady does? *Smiles* Of course you would! Please…make yourself comfortable. *Our host appears to be composing himself* Well then, Lady Grizabella delights in nothing more than doing favors for cats who are kind and good. She has dedicated her life here in the Heaviside Layer to granting the wishes of others. She will do her best to grant your wish as well as soon as you step through that door into her chambers! *Claps his orange paws together in excitement* She will explain from here. If you wish to come for a visit, please follow me! *Our host turns and is soon padding rapidly through the darkness…"
