September 17th, 2000:
I just got back from NYC, and I dropped off Michael's notes (and the $2.00 ;-)). I was dropping someone off in the city, so I couldn't stay to talk with him, but I dropped it off with the doorman (how much do i love him, that poor boy hehehehe... I always make him run erands...) My fun story of the day though is when I was talking to him, and someone inside interrupted us by saying "You have to help! Kevin got locked out of his dressing room!" That was an enjoyable quote =) ~Heidi

September 13th, 2000:
PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR NOTES FOR MICHAELS LAST SHOW ASAP!!!!!! I NEED TO MAIL IT OUT TOMOROW IF I WANT IT TO REACH HIM!!!!!!!
Heidi =)

September 11th, 2000:
Congrats to Marin and Stokes on their fantastic performance of SIL at Broadway on Broadway on Sunday!!!

Marin with Christine Ebersole and Karen Ziemba at Broadway on Broadway 2000

Updates done to many Galleries today. More to come...
It has been said that Michael Berresse will be leaving the show this Suanday, the 17th. He is leaving to film a movie...I'll let you know this info as I find it out. Please start emailing me notes, etc for Michael IMMEDIATELY as I'll have to mail him his going away gift since I'm not sure I can make it to see him...

September 8th, 2000:
New gallery added of screen caps from Amy and Michael's rendition of "Always True To You..." on Rosie. Also new pictures in a few of the other existing galleries.

September 6th, 2000:
KMK will be performing Sunday, September 10th in Times Square at Broadway on Broadway. I believe that Marin and Stokes will be performing the duet version of "So In Love" that they did on Rosie (pre-tonys). -Hope a lot of you can come!
NBC will be airing the show live this year, so set your VCRS!!!!!
Merwin Foard will be replacing Stokes from September 12th-17th. I saw him my first time seeing the show, and he is fabulous. If you get a chance definately go see him!
I added the New York Times review of the show to the Articles and Reviews section.

August 20th, 2000 (later):
Hey guys! This is the thank you message that Lee emailed me for the cards and gift we gave him for his departure from the show. I didn't know when his last day was, but it just so happens that I ended up getting the stuff to him on the exact day! Good timing if I do say so myself...;-) He carbon copied this to all the people who wrote to him (I included your email addresses), but some people told me they hadnt recieved it, so here it is:

************************************************************

Dear friends,
My last show at Kiss Me Kate today was all the
sweeter because of your kind
words. Thanks for being so nice.
All my best,
Lee Wilkof

************************************************************

Thank you again Lee, and congratulations on your last show! We will all miss you!
always,
Heidi O'Connell =)

August 20th, 2000:
Saw Chicago again last night (Go see Charlotte D'Amboise!) and on the way back to our 45th St. lot I dropped off the package for Lee from us all with the doorman (great man *lol*) as Lee had already left. Talked to a few cast members (How much do i adore the two Michaels?- Finally got my Michael B. pic, and Michael M. was quite hyper and hilarious...he took a picture of me instead of me of him..looonnng story hehehe....and Amy's always a doll of course) and they were all incredibly sweet- No question the nicest cast around =) always, Heidi =)
*Very Random Note: Go read all the Harry Potter Books if you haven't already. Now.*

August 15th, 2000:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MICHAEL BERRESSE!!! Congratulations =*) always, Heidi

August 10th, 2000:
I added Marins answers to the fan questions from Broadway.com to the articles. You can view them either on Broadway.com's "Ask A Star" section, or you can view them under articles on this site. (The two last questions she answered were from me and Olli- thank you Marin!) always, Heidi =) PS: I'm still taking letters from fans for Lee's Goodbye card and gift! Please email me with your note!

July 18th, 2000:
Please everyone try to find out the exact date when Lee is leaving for me! I'm in VA, so I can't call the box office, but if someone in NY could do it for me and ask or ask at the stage door, I'd really appreciate it!
I've bought a card from the whole board, saying goodbye, thanking him, and wishing him luck from the whole board. When I was debating what to get as a gift, I figured- what's more usful to an actor then a new sharpie? ;-) So I got him a "Super Sharpie" hehhehehe....I think he'll find it funny, and I thought that it could become a board tradition that we gave this to the actors as they leave the show...
Now comes your part- I need all of you to send me notes to Lee or scanned stage door pics, etc.- PLEASE!!! If I don't get these ASAP to include with the card, it won't be nearly as nice! Just email me your note, etc and I'll include it with the card and gift.
So those are your assignments guys! Next time I check my email I really need to have all your letters!!!
thanks everyone! always, Heidi =)

July 8th, 2000:
Broadway.com's newest "Ask A Star" Q&A is with Marin Mazzie! Submit you question by Thursday, July 13 and Marin's answers will be posted on Tuesday, July 18. I'm sure there will be many people asking Marin questions and she won't be able to answer them all, so make sure you ask a good one! Good luck!
As well as adding the Ask A Star article, I also updated the links page.
I'll be on vacation in VA until sometime in August, so Olli will be keeping you posted on any big news =) I will only have computer access when I go to the library, where I'm not supposed to respond to emails, but feel free to send me one anyway and I'll read it as soon as I can!
On my way back from RENT wednesday, I saw Amy, Stokes and Marin at the stage door, since we parked on 45th. (Speaking of which, Christina Fadale is fabulous as Maureen, and I'm definately seeing some of Amy in her performance! Wish I had been able to see her in it!!!) I also was able to finally pick up a souvenir program! Since both times I saw the show was early on in the run, they weren't available yet. If you haven't gotten one yet, do so- they're fabulous! The pictures are gorgeous! They're available at the theatre and I also noticed that they are selling them in the Broadway gift shop next to the Mariott Marquis.
Hope everyone's having a wonderful summer!
always, Heidi =)

July 4th, 2000:
Happy 4th of July everyone!!! The cast performed a full rendition of "Too Darn Hot" at the Macy's fireworks that aired on NBC at 9:00 tonight, and Stokes read while the fireworks were going off. Tomorrow you can see Stokes on PBS' "A Walk Down 5th Avenue with Brian Stokes Mitchell" at 8:00!
Updates: I added to the links, and fixed up the Bway cast section. As soon as I convince myself to type up more of the bios, I'll add them ;-)

June 16th, 2000:
I deleted a link for which the site is no longer up...made the links uniform...fixed captions and spacing in Misc. Photo Gallery (Part II)...Thanks to KAYLA we now have a gallery of screen caps from when Marin and Stokes performed the "So In Love" duet on Rosie. The pics aren't working right now, but should be fine soon. Thank you so much Kayla!!! =)

June 15th, 2000:
Some more renovations--the color scheme has been applied to each page; added some new pictures to the galleries; added some Michael Berresse and Brian Stokes Mitchell articles... Many new links including entirely new sections for Michael M. and Lee. Lee was in the movie "Addicted to Love" that aired on CBS Last night...Stanley did a great number in a documentary on Rogers and Hart that re-aired on PBS over the weekend- if anyone taped this or knows if you can buy a copy from PBS, please email me. I was out and missed it, but my mom saw it on tv and told me that it was really great =)

June 14th, 2000:
MAJOR rennovations have been going on (obviously) and Olli and I are officially the co-webmasters of the site. We have moved the forum to a new server, so please make sure you update bookmarks, etc. We're trying out a new color plan, so please bear with us until things become more uniform. Also, we now have so many links that I added a whole section devoted to just them, rather than place them on the first page. Please email me if you know of any more sites, especially ones for cast members that have none posted already. Once again, I'll remind you to please email either of us with your stage door photos, experiences, or reviews of when you saw the show for the Fan Corner! Thank you!
always, Heidi =)

June 13th, 2000:
After much confusion, I finally organized the mess that was the Photo Galleries...Please go look at the new set up and make me happy by saying how much nicer it is - You know you want to ;-) I also added Jennifer's (hopefully-soon-to-be-official) Marin Mazzie Page to the links

News: Marin Performed the song "Ring Them Bells" last night at the concert for Christopher Reeve, "First You Dream...", to rave reviews from all who saw her!

Personal note: This is the 1 year anniversary of the closing of Stanley's show "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown." Thank you Stanley for continuing to be such a fabulous performer and amazing person- Happiness is singing together when day is through, and happiness is those who sing with you!!! You'll always be too darn hot =)
always, Heidi =)

Tonight's the night! Everybody start praying now! Don't forget: Coverage starts on PBS (NY Channel 13) from 8-9 and then moves to CBS (NY Channel 2) from 9-11!!!
I've been updating some of the page lately while Olli's in Finland (Have fun babe!), so bear with my pitiful html attempts ;-) I updated every section except for the gallery, and added a section for KMK related articles/reviews. When I get a chance, I'm hoping to add a Tony section as well.If anyone has any more articles, pics, or info, please email Olli. I'd like to add a fan section, so if you want to send reviews or stage door pictures/experiences, we really want to add them!
