John Partridge Biography

John Partridge was born in July 24th 1971. He is trained at the Royal Ballet School of London, Bush Davies, and Doreen Bird in London area. He left college in 17 years old to tour with the original U.K. touring production of Cats. He played the roles of Alonzo, Rumpus Cat, understudied Mistoffelees and the Rum Tum Tugger, and was dance captain for 2 years. He joined the London company of Cats afterwards, playing the Rum Tum Tugger and Munkustrap.

OTHER WORK: He has worked with several Rock/Pop bands, such as U2, Pet Shop boys, Kim Wild, Neneh Cherry, Pete Townsend, Mica Paris and Ultra Nate.

He has played the club circuit with his band and he is currently working on a recording of his own material.
