Pervasive Computing in Medical Industry Survey

Pervasive computing is the trend towards increasingly ubiquitous, connected computing devices in the environment, a trend being brought about by a convergence of advanced electronic and, particularly, wireless technologies and the Internet. Pervasive computing devices are not only personal computers as we tend to think of them, but also very tiny, sometimes invisible, devices embedded in almost any type of object imaginable, including cars, tools, appliances, clothing and various consumer goods, all communicating through increasingly interconnected networks.

Our project focuses on the use of pervasive computing in the medical industry, such as PDAs, wireless networking, and Palmtop applications. We would like to ask you some survey questions about patient privacy, usability, efficiency, and effectiveness of the new technologies which relate to pervasive computing in the medical industry.
