JAKEROO'S STAGE EXPERIENCE
Welcome to this humble page of my life across those
wooden planks of excitement and fear that some of us
call THEATRE! I hope you find it to be informative,
interesting and fun!!!

- Extra fun facts about me....!
Here is a photo of me (left)taken
backstage during a production of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS.
If you aren't familiar with the show, it is a musical adaptation of fairly tale The Princess and the Pea.
I played the role of King Sextimus the Silent. It was
rather like getting to be Harpo Marx, except I did
get to utter a few lines towards the end. The next
photo (center)is from GUYS AND DOLLS. I played a gangster in the chorus. This is a very fun show to be
in the chorus, because you get to do alot and I did get to hang out with the Hot Box dancers!! The photo on the right was taken on the stage of THE MAN WHO
CAME TO DINNER. I played the role of Richard.
All of these photographs are from the
musical OLIVER. I had an absolute blast doing this show. I played the role of the Artful Dodger. It was my first big role in a musical. The pictures are:Dodger and Nancy(left),Dodger and Oliver(center)and Dodger and Fagin(right)
These three photos are from Little Shop
of Horrors. I played the Dentist, Orin Scrivello (LEFT)and was also Seymour's understudy. After being
killed by a gaint venus flytrap I came back in act 2
as the reporter Bernstein(RIGHT)I also had fun keeping
Audrey(CENTER)in line!
Here I am (LEFT & RIGHT)in costume
as an Egyptian soldier in Dayton Opera's production
of AIDA. I was also an Ethiopian slave. Performing
at the Schuster center in downtown Dayton was awesome!
The center image is from the musical ANYTHING GOES.
I played Ching. He was a chinese man who liked to gamble. I was also in the chorus as a sailor.
After getting bored answering phones in the box office I decided to join up and become a pirate for La Comedia. Between selling the tickets and performing I stayed quite busy!
The pic on the left is from CELEBRATE
BROADWAY. This was a musical review that was put on by the Dayton Jewish Center. This was my costume I wore during the Age of Aquarius number from HAIR. There were many other musicals featured. I had a solo during the show. I sang the Circle of Life from The Lion King. The other two images (CENTER
& RIGHT) Showcase a couple backdrops I painted for an
opera workshop project at Wright State.
