Salutations! Welcome to "Redhead: A Tribute To Gwen Verdon." This site is dedicated to the incomparable Ms. Gwyneth Evelyn Verdon, one of, if not the greatest dancer, singer and actress ever to grace the American theatrical stage. Although she is no longer with us, Gwen will continue to be fondly remembered as the seductress Lola in Damn Yankees the dance-hall hostess with a heart of gold in Sweet Charity, or from one of her other successes in Can-Can, New Girl in Town, Redhead, and Chicago. Gwen was also quite an accomplished actress, having made appearances on several TV shows ("M*A*S*H" and "Magnum P.I." to name a few) and in movies such as Cocoon and The Cotton Club. among others.
