About Dave:Dave is excited to be performing in his first production at TLP. Past shows in other theaters include Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), City of Angels (Stein), West Side Story (Bernardo), Grease (Kenickie), Bye Bye Birdie (Albert), Neil Simon's Fools (Leon), She Loves Me (Waiter), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Pseudolus), and Godspell (Jesus). In addition, David has appeared in Joey and Maria's Comedy Wedding as Pastor Fasiulli, Phil and Rhonda's Gala Divorce as The Cook, and the Boston-based independent film Overserved, winner of Best Picture at both the Houston and Boston Comedy Festivals. David currently works as a Medical Assistant in Boston, and plans to continuously pursue his career in acting until he physically can't anymore. Many thanks to his entire family-without their support, he would be nothing. Special thanks to Matt L, the best Dance Captain ever, for kicking Dave in the ass and getting him to this audition.

Andrea Polon ( Sandy )

About Andrea: Andrea grew up in CT and now resides in Salem, MA. She attended Boston University where she majored in Modern Foreign Language Education. She is now a high school French teacher in Marblehead, MA. After a long absence from doing community & professional theatre and commercial jingles, Andrea is so happy to be back on the stage with this talented cast and crew! Katie Ford ( Rizzo )

About Katie: Katie recently graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she studied Musical Theatre. She is happy to be back in the Boston area near here family and old friends. Grease is her first Turtle Lane production. Katie just started working at Gymboree Play and Music teaching Mommy and Me music classes. She loves kids as much as she loves music, so a job that combines the two makes her very happy! :) Her favorite roles in the past include Rizzo in Grease, Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Dolly Levi inHello Dolly. She's been having a great time with the cast of Grease and is looking forward to opening night!

Paul Mayo (Kenickie )

About Paul: Recently returning from his two year training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, in London, and a six month stay in Barcelona. Paul has performed in several plays including: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Twelfth Night, India Song, and six degrees of separation to name a few. He also performed as the lead in “Kassandra” at the Edinburgh festival in Scotland, and won a fringe first award. Prior to that Paul spent four years in Los Angeles where he performed in several Indi films and the better-known Jessica Simpson music video "I wanna love you for ever". He is looking to crack the big apple soon but for now he is enjoying the time spent in the old neighborhood with friends and family. For all those who do what they want to do. Dream away.

Shonna McEachern (Jan)

About Shonna: Shonna is a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She was most recently seen in as the maid by the fire in Jesus Christ Superstar. Some of her favorite roles include Lizzie in Baby (TCAN players), Tzietel in Fiddler on the Roof (Reagle Players), Meg in Brigadoon (Wakefield Repertory Theater), and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Shonna made her television debut on Fox Family's The Scariest Places on Earth. She currently works as a waitress at Legal Seafoods and is working on her solo caberet act. About Eric: Eric was last seen at TLP in Evita (aristocrat/ Magaldi us). Other local theater appearances include Sterling Theater‘s production of Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon Zealots) and a recent appearance in Baby (Danny) at TCAN. Eric was born and raised in Ashland, though he now lives in Framingham, MA. He attended The Boston Conservatory as a musical theater major. About Lauren: Lauren currently attends Manhattanville College as a Theatre major / Criminal Law minor on academic and artistic scholarships. When not performing or in class, Lauren is a Sales Associate for Gap, Inc. and is on summer faculty at Children's Ballet Arts for Musical Theatre. Charlie Walsh ( Sonny )

Dislikes: My job, any negativity being thrown my way, having a thought interrupted before it could be vocalized. There's a little more, but I can't remember. OH! I dislike my poor memory.

About Charlie: A current Revere resident and raised in Somerville, MA most of his life, Charlie saw his father as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, and was awestruck at the emotion that theater could invoke. From his first role as a child as the Tinman in The Wizard of Oz to now, as Sonny in Grease, he still remembers the performance that sparked in him the desire that still goes strong today. Big ups to my boys in the Burger Palace, and the birds in the Pink Ladies, special props go to the rest of the cast and crew, you all rule hardcore. About Jed: Jed was born in New York City, but he now lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He is currently attending St. Sebastian's School in Needham, MA. He developed his love for theater at Stagedoor Manor, the acting camp located in Loch Sheldrake, New York. Since then, he has worked as a hip-hop choreographer at the Kathy McCrohon's Dance Center. He's also worked with the Weston Friendly Society, Alexander Children's Theater School (ACTS), Weston Drama Workshop, Open Fields, and of course, Turtle Lane Playhouse. Favorite roles include Sammy Johnstone in Blood Brothers, Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and Jesus in Godspell.

About Julie: Julie lives in Needham, MA but will soon be leaving for New York City to attend Barnard College! She has been involved in theatre throughout high school with her favorite role being Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls." About Jim: Jim hails from Lincoln, Nebraska where he went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to get his Bachelors in Music Ed. After graduating, he moved to Boston where he went to The Boston Conservatory to earn his Masters in Opera Performance. The most interesting thing to happen to him lately is a commerical shoot for Herb Chambers where he dressed as a dog and licked a toy car. Watch for this commercial sometime in early July!! About James: James was born in Scotland, and moved to the US 6 years ago. About Kim: Kim graduated from Ithaca College in '02 with a degree in Communications. Shortly after graduating she moved to the Boston area to pursue her career. Presently she works for a media buying agency in Natick, however spends most of her time at Turtle Lane Playhouse! Music and theatre have always been Kim's passions and she looks forward to performing with this dynamic and energetic cast! About Brent: Brent was born and raised in Bakersfield, Ca. He moved here last June to basically try another part of the county. "The opportunity was there so I took it." He now works for Marriott hotels as a Night Auditor. He is enjoying actually being on stage in Grease since he is usually in the orchestra pit musically conducting or playing the piano. About Joe: Joe is currently 16 and lives in Winchester, where he attends Winchester High School. Recently, he has performed in A Funny Thing...Forum with the Weston Friendly Theater Society and Fiddler on the Roof with TLP. His most memorable role was the "Artful Dodger" in Oliver! with the Wakefield Repertory Theater, for which he was given an EMACT. He also works with the TLP Summer Workshop for Children.

Likes: Performing in, directing, and choreographing musical theater productions, spending time with cool people (such as those in the Grease cast), annoying my neighbors by dancing to music turned up too loud on my backyard patio at 11:00 pm., writing songs, playing showtunes on piano and singing along (even better when Devon sings), and taking pictures because I like to hold on to good memories... Devon is my brother, if you were wondering.

Dislikes: Being interrupted in the middle of a creative thought process...and raw seafood, I don't like foods that have the capability to jiggle...unless it's jello. jello's ok.

About Whitney: Whitney resides in Natick, MA, where she lives the glamorous life of an AMC movie theater employee. The additional inhabitants of her house include Mom and Dad, her cats Timmy and Tina, and she is trying to cope with the hole where her brother should be, as he is living in NH this summer! She recently graduated from Natick High School, and will be attending Hofstra University as a theatre major in the fall. Whitney was last seen in Jesus Christ Superstar (Soul Girl/ Tormentor/ Ensemble) with Indy Productions. Favorite past roles include Gladys in The Pajama Game, Narrator in Joseph...Dreamcoat, Wendy Jo in Footloose, and Esther Smith in Meet Me In St. Louis. This is Whitney's first show with Turtle Lane

About Will: Will lives in Newton and attends Newton South High School. Will has recently appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar with Indy Productions and as Rev. Moore in Footloose, and Lucky Stiff as Uncle Anthony. Will has also performed many roles with the Turtle Lane Playhouse, most recently being Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof and a Military General in Evita. Will is going to be working at the Turtle Lane Summer Program this summer with Joe and Whitney.
