The Cuddington Players, in association with the Longdown Players, have now launched rehearsals of their latest show, “Anything Goes” and are looking for people who want to try going on stage. The passenger liner SS American sails on the 29 November to the 3 December 2005, embarking 27 November 2005. The following vacancies are urgently needed and require filling.

Sailors – Preferably “youngish”, must be able to sing, dancing or acting would be a bonus. Possibility of promotion to officer rank!

There are a few vacant cabins (single or double) for passengers, singing and acting during the journey.

Enrolment or joining takes place every Sunday at the Nork Community Centre, Nork Way, Nork, Banstead. During November, there will be regular checks for readiness for sail. These will also take place on Thursday evenings at the Longmead Community Centre, Sefton Road, Epsom.

Still reckoned to be the greatest popular American Musical of the 1930’s by those in the Show Business hierarchy. Set on board a transatlantic liner at the time when the idle rich filled their days getting kicks from champagne, falling in love or nipping endlessly across “the pond” in luxury, their only idea of work was trying hard to avoid boredom and seeing which celebrities, or other famous names they could meet up with!

Don’t miss this great opportunity to join this exciting voyage. For further information please email cuddingtonplayers@hotmail.com. You may also visit our website, which can be found at www.angelfire.com/musicals/cudd. Alternatively, simply click on the link above for our latest show.
