Denise Umland
(Costume Designer) is currently the Costume Shop Manager at the Olney Theatre Center. She was Resident Costume Designer at Western Maryland College and Theatre on the Hill. Past design credits include RUTHLESS, BLOOD BROTHERS, BARNUM, NOISES OFF, and THE CHERRY ORCHARD. |
Che Wernsman
(Stage Manager) is delighted to be Rep's Resident Stage Manager for the 2000-2001 Season, which has included THE JUDAS KISS, THE PHILADELPHIA STORY, and THE LONESOME WEST. Last season at Rep she was Stage Manager for SLEUTH and Production Assistant for THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP, THREE TALL WOMEN and TRANSLATIONS. Previous professional credits include Production Stage Manager for LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST and RICHARD II at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Williamsburg; Company Stage Manager of the Mask Theatre Company, Cambridgeshire, England for WILDEST DREAMS, MACBETH, ABSOLUTE TURKEY, MEDEA and ONE FOR THE ROAD; and Stage Manager at the Generic Theatre in Norfolk, VA for productions too numerous to count. |
Lisa A, Wilde
(Dramaturg) is the Resident Dramaturg and Literary Manager of the Rep Stage. She has worked as the Associate Dramaturg/Education Director at Center Stage in Baltimore and as the Education Director at Young Playwrights Inc. in New York. She has taught writing, literature and theatre at several Baltimore area colleges and theaters, including Howard Community College, Olney Theater, and Towson University. She holds a doctorate in dramaturgy and dramatic criticism from the Yale School of Drama |
