The show family guy is what you would call your typical disfuncitonal family if you break down each character from the dad, Peter and to the dog, Bryan you will have some very interesting insites onto what you would consider your typical family. Lets compare The Family Guy's family too that loveable T.V show Full House. Lets take the dad, Danny and compare him too Peter. Danny is a morning co host for his local T.V station and is seen in the public figure where Peter works at a Toy manufacturing as a safety inspector ,half the time he does not even know what is going on. The baby Stewie comparing him to the Olsen twins. The lovabl Michelle who is always bveing your typical daddy's little girl. Always seeming to have a learned experience about life at the end of every episode, where Stewie is always up to a little mischief and at the end of every episode finds away for his plans of world domination to be spoiled over. Instead of being a good boy he is Satan's advocate.
In Full House there is no mom, but Danny plays the role of a house wife pretty good and actually he is a clean freak, but does not really match up with Lois Griffin, who plays the house wife role lovely, but to this family there is always a catch and some type of drama involved.
The Full House season was runned in the early 90s where back in those days, audiences were more into the whole family idea and what does the ideal family look like with a little comedy twist.
But now times has changed the same audience that probably grew up watching Full House is probably at a older age now,and probably has grown into watching what society and audiences find interesting, mischief and hard-core comedy. which is everything that Family guy brings. In this day audiences like what the FCC does not want kids watching but there is no better humor then that of comical pureness.
