Hello...my name is Carmel Reynolds. I moved to Amarillo Texas December 2004. I moved from a small town in Louisiana called Haughton, it is just outside of Bossier/Shreveport, La. I lived there for over 25 years. Everybody says, "WOW", that is a long time for a change...YES, I do believe it was, but, it was a good change, It was hard at first but it is getting better. I have two children well, not really children they are young adults. My eldest is Brandi, she is 23 years old and recently came a stayed few days with me. My son, Boogie, his real name is David but is only called if in trouble. I do miss being with my children but I talk to them as much as possible and with Internet it is easy. I do go back and visit with my family but it is over 8 hours and takes a while. I have a boyfriend, Michael, he has been so wonderful with me moving here. He is from here and he shows me the ropes with this traffic. (Don't laugh I have been lost a few times!!!" I work in Canyon at the Immediate Care Clinic for Family Medical Care Clinic. I love it, I work Tues., Wed. & Thurs. nights, 15 hours a night. Michael works nights so it works out great. I have worked at several jobs in the past, I was a school bus driver, YES, a School Bus Driver, before I moved here. I loved that job, I did it for 5 years and loved every minute of it!! I also had prior experience working at a Satellite clinic for Willis Knighton Medical Center doing alot of what I am doing now. I am currently "goin back to school", after 100 years....I am taking the Nutrition class to start off, my intentions are to be a nurse. I felt really good because I went and took the accuplacer test and leveled good enough to only have to take the Prerequisite classes to be able to get into Clinical to be an LVN. I would love to become a RN but, right now -- one step at a time. When I become an LVN I plan on working a few nights a week and continuing until I become an RN...sounds like a plan huh?Michael and I have 4 animals, we spend alot of time with them...they are special and when I say special you will see why. We have 2 three-legged cats...(George and Wisker), they were Siamese twins at birth, but they are really yellow tabby cats. Then there is Bouncer and Cody, Bouncer is the outside dog that is part Pitt and Dalmatian, he looks like the dog on Little Rascals. OK now Cody, he is my heart, he is a retired Grey Hound that was severely abused!!! It looks like somebody knocked him in the head and he has scars all over. I did have Taco Bell dog in Louisiana, her name was Chloe, but my X husband decided that he wanted to keep her and that is far as that goes.I love to take pictures!!! I have so many of the dogs & cats and whatever else I can snap. Michael has a son named Cade that lives in Louisiana. When he came down he was ham with it...he would pose and tell me when to snap the picture...must say they were very nice pictures...ha haWell, now that you know my life history, now for the pictures...I promise I wont bore you with too many but, I probably could!!!
