As they begin their musical careers, the founding members of the Alla Chamera String Quartet are now scattered across the country for College and Conservatory studies, career and marital changes. The members of the Alla Chamera Quartet work with other Greater St. Louis area musicians to complete their quartet to play for parties, weddings, dinners, luncheons and other corporate events.

MEET THE FOUNDING MEMBERS OF THE ALLA CHAMERA STRING QUARTET

First Violin

Caroline Hart is 19 years old and has been playing the violin since the age of 4 1/2. She is served as Concert Master of the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra where she is a previous concerto winner. She also performed as Co-Concert Master of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. She is currently a violin and music major at Vanderbilt.

Second Violin

Michelle Horn is 18 years old and has played violin for 11 years.  She recently married and moved to Rolla, Missouri but frequently visits the St. Louis area and may be available for performances Michelle was Concert Mistress for St. Charles County Youth Symphony Orchestra where is also was a past winner of the Concerto Competition and a Festival Winner. She intends to make music her life's work as she begins enrolling students in the Rolla, Missouri area. Call if intertested in an ensemble or soloist in the Rolla area.

Viola

Briana Bassman is a 19 year old who began her music studies at age 6. Studying with Leslie Perna, Briana is a Viola Performance Major at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Briana was selected and performed in the Honors Orchestra America. Briana was a member of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and principal viola in the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra. She was also a member of the Missouri High School All State Orchestra for 3 years. If you are looking for a quartet or soloist in the Columbia, Missouri area please call us.

Cello

Patrick McVicker, a 21 year old who started music lessons at age 8. He is now attending the University of Missouri in St. Louis. Patrick was also a member of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and was principal cellist with the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra. Patrick was chosen by audition to the 2005-2006 Missouri All State High School Orchestra.
