My name is Victoria. I live in Northern California and am 31 years old. I currently work as a veterinary receptionist/assistant at a local small animal practice. Because I work full time, spare time is in short supply, however I do have quite a few hobbies and interests.
As the website would suggest, I am very much a fan of music. Besides Walter Egan and his various bands, I am an admirer of artists like Tom Petty, Lindsey Buckingham (a friend of mine, Jessica Sneed, runs the official website at LindseyBuckingham.com), Warren Zevon, Billy Burnette, John Stewart, and Eric Clapton as well as more recent artists like Live, Matchbox 20, and Mumford and Sons.

I also enjoy writing fiction, mostly in the form of short stories. I am in the process of finishing my first novel and will soon begin seeking a publisher. I have never before attempted to publish any of my work, so this will be a totally new experience for me.
My friends and I also make at least one annual pilgrimage to the Northern California Renaissance Faire in Hollister, CA (which takes place for a few weeks in autumn), and yes, we attend in costume but are not employees of the faire. <

As for Walternative.com, I know it's a rather simplistic site, but now that I've learned more about web design and html, I intend to revamp it when time permits or, you know, when pigs fly. Whichever happens first.
