My Comments:
Despite (or may because of) being set in a Christian high school, this film deals with some very real issues to which anybody - Christian or not - can relate. In an irreverantly hilarous way, it covers the subjects of homosexuality, teen sex and pregnancy, adultery, hypocrisy, faith, and all the normal pressures of high school life.
And while the entire cast does an amazing job, Eva Amurri (daughter of Susan Sarandon) is a revelation as "Cassandra Edelstein," a rebel and the only Jew at the Christian high school.
