So my daughter says to me yesterday morning as we are getting ready to go to work, (actually she yells it from her bathroom) “Mom, do you have any drain opener? My sink is stopped up.”    I actually have purse and keys in hand about to go out the door, so I say “yes, I think so, but I don’t have time to look right now.  I’ll take care of it when I come home for lunch.”  So I go on my way. 

When I come home for lunch I actually remember (a feat in itself) that I am supposed to unstop her drain.  I go to my bathroom, get the bottle of drain opener and head for her bathroom.  Even after all that time there is still water standing in her sink.  I think, “oh it must be pretty bad if it hasn’t drained in four hours.”  But, she had very thick hair and it sheds a lot so ……..

Anyway, I take care of the problem and when she comes home she’s in the bathroom and she says, “Thanks for unstopping my drain Mom.  Was it bad?”  I said “No, it was no trouble at all.  I just took the stopper out!” 

But I love her anyway. 

Mood:  silly

I had a really bad day today (and I'll probably blog about it sometime over the weekend) but .... a friend shared this with me, and I feel much better now.  I laughed til I hurt.  I've watched it about ten times already.  This was written by my friend's friend.
