I bought myself a toy Christmas present today.  A very exciting practical device.

Ok - so like I told the guy at the AT&T store ... I dont get out much.  He and my daughter laughed at me the whole time but I dont care.  I did my research and I think I've made a very wise choice. 

Ok - so this a.m I wanted to wear my red boots to work. 

It's jean day. and Alabama/Auburn day ........ so I wore a burgandy shirt (I dont really have any Alabama stuff) and my boots were a perfect match.

I havent worn these boots in weeks months, because 1) I've had too many other boots to wear, and 2) these had a little ding in the toe of them.  No, you cant see it in this pic because I repaired it this morning. 

Some time ago I discovered a tiny WHITE ding in the toe of them.  At first I thought something got on them, but when I started to clean it off, it was a nick in the 'leather'.  I was heartbroken.  But I thought .... ya know, some fingernail polish might do the trick (there are no shoe repair shops for 30 miles around here).  But I could never remember to buy red polish.  I dont wear polish because my nails are awful and it's best not to call attention to them.  So ... for months, I've been neglecting my pretty red boots.

Today I decided to just wear them and to heck with it, maybe nobody would notice (it was a longshot but one I was willing to take).  So I got dressed and put them on.  Then I was putting the finishing touches on my hair and makeup when I looked at myself in the mirror ..... looked down at my boots ..... and ......

It's a perfect match!!!! 

 
My coworker said she couldnt tell, and said the only way anyone would ever know is if they kissed my feet.  Well, I know that ain't gonna happen ... but on the offchance that it does ..... my feet can kiss back!!

Hmmm ... today is Monday of course.  But since we're off tomorrow (or I am at least) does that make today Friday?  Well, kinda sorta?  I'm going with that idea because Friday is better than Monday, right?

But then ... does that mean Wednesday is really gonna be Monday?  I'll try not to think that far ahead and just enjoy today ... you know ... Friday!

Not of course that I dont often do stupid things.  But this one's pretty 'out there'.  I've got this silly - stupid - notion that I think I'd like to have an iPhone. 

What makes this stupid you ask?  Cuz .... I dont need an iPhone.  Have no use for an iPhone.  Told all those people who stood in line for days to get them that they were stupid (and I still believe that). 

Actually, the iPhone itself is probably a great thing.  And for business people on the go I imagine it's a lifesaver.  Maybe it even has redeeming qualities for all those teenagers that have them (though I think most use it for an iPod and iPods are much cheaper than iPhones!) 

Never-the-less, it's not the iPhone itself that is a stupid idea.  It's me getting one that's the stupid idea. 

I wont rush into it.  I'll investigate.  Do my research.  Maybe I can get my (14-yr-old) nephew to let me play with his a bit.  I do know that the rate plan for it is not any more expensive than what I already have for my regular phone (I'm already an AT&T customer).  It's just that $299 (or $399 for the 'bigger' one) that doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. 

I dunno.  I'll keep thinkin'.  Any opinons?  Any of you readers (all three of you, haha) have an iPhone? 

Found this link on another blog and decided to try it myself.  Now, it says I am "barefeet".  I'm pretty tenderfooted so I dont really go in barefeet, but I do live in my flip-flops, which is about as close to barefeet as it gets.

The rest of it describes me pretty well though I think!
