Thse little "Rollasoles" are enormously popular in the UK, but are now making their way to the US.
They are available in vending machines for about $10-$12 in many nightclubs.
Cute!

I wont say how old I am, but Jules, I'm hot on your heels.
So I went out and splurged yesterday.
BoyChild called me while I was at the Apple store and he said "uh huh, I knew it, that's the only reason you sent me your old one so you could get a new one!!"
Pretty smart kid, huh? LOL.

Friends at work gave me an early birthday 'party' at work yesterday since we have a lot of folks on vacation the rest of the week. We had dark chocolate cake with Mayfield vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce (home made) and whipped cream.
Some of you may remember the fudge cake that Shoney's restaurants used to have - well it was that, only WAY better. We all had a big ol' dose of it after lunch yesterday and we were miserable (in a good way) all afternoon long.
And, I had it for breakfast this morning. Now that's the way I like to start the day!
Just got the work tape back from my co-writer on "Just Another Number". If you have a few moments give it a listen at let me know what you think.
It's the first song on the list. Just hit the 'play' button if it doesnt start automatically after a few seconds.
BabyGurl and I went to Nashville Fri nite to see our friend Anthony. It was a fundraiser for www.monroeharding.org Take a peek if you get a chance.
We saw Anthony ...

The flash didnt go off on this one and it got a funky glow, so I played around in photoshop and smeared out the people in the background.

Kix Brooks was in attendance, an graced us with a song. He was GREAT! (For those of you who may not be country music enthusiasts, Kix is 1/2 of the duo Brooks and Dunn).

Two of the other songwriters performing this night were Shelly Fairchild, and Lisa Carver. Great singer/songwriters!

And the beautiful and gracious lady who organized the event ... Laura Stroud.

Well worth eight hours in the car (my dad's truck to be exact, since the air is still out on my Jeep) and not getting home til 4am. I love love love it (and so does BabyGurl).
I think I'm gonna be forced to look into getting a blog at an actual blog site. This 'free' one that came with my webhost isnt cutting it any more. It wont let my friends post, and now it wont let me change templates. No telling what you'll see (or not) over the next few days as I take out my frustrations on the blog template site. I'll try to get something going soon. In the meantime, please feel free to keep emailing me!
