SourHoney is a spanish/english rock band from McAllent, Tx. There are two members in this band and looking for a bass player; David (guitars/vocals),and Mario (Drums). The former bass player and I formed the band back in December of 04 after I left my previous band. But recently things went for a turn and he is no longer with us. After a failed attempt to recruit the back then drummer of The Idiots we recruited Mario. He's a close friend of mine and have known him since elementary. He joined the band in Feb. 05 and was ready to play our first show back in March. Our sound is a mixture of things but mostly we've been told that our sound is alternative/grunge rock style. which is cool because mostly what other bands play here in the valley is either death metal, emo, or pop-punk. that is the majority here and i figured it would be good to do something different. The both of us are from south McAllen and Im the only one who goes to school. Im about to start my junior fall semester at UTPA, and Mario just works. Hes a hard worker and knows how to manage his time between being at work, band practice and with his girl. Yes, hes taken, but im single. Which is nothing new and its something im not ashamed of. So we are a struggling duo who want to widen our fan base, with a loud alternative crunching guitar, punk stlye vocals and punk style drum beats. We are ready to take the valley music scene by storm.
